[Sponsored Video] Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue, a Mediterranean Love Story

Light Blue, an award-winning fragrance for both men and women, returns with a fascinating new chapter, a Mediterranean Love Story, starring David Gandy and Bianca Balti.

The campaign photographs were taken in the beautiful glittering sapphire blue waters of Capri, Italy, under the direction of Mario Testino. The island has always been one of Italy’s most beautiful summer playgrounds and the backdrop to many great love affairs. The Designers worked closely with Mario Testino to create the sequel of the Light Blue story.

Bianca Balti’s character portrays the Italian femme fatale.

Bianca, an Italian model, has featured in many Dolce&Gabbana campaigns, but she said that “Light Blue was one of the first fragrances I wore, and I keep going back to it because when I wear it I am instantly transported back to Capri; the sun on my skin, the smell of the air and the sound of the sea. I love my character in this new Light Blue campaign, she is so feminine and so in control.”

Together with David Gandy, who celebrates his third Light Blue advertising campaign with this episode, they made the perfect match by bringing out the feel of the Mediterranean Love Story. “Their eyes that match the colour of the water, that beautiful endless blue that is the Mediterranean surrounding Capri.” said Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

Light Blue has won 14 fragrance awards after its first ad campaign debuting during the year 2007 which David was also involved in, and was recently featured in an exhibition at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York as one of the century's most groundbreaking scents.

Check out the style crush, David Gandy's interview by Henry Golding and some beautiful scenario in this video! His body and sexy voice is to die for, and you won't wanna missed it!
