[Beauty] Mee Brightly Sharp Eyeliner Review

Everyone knows that black eyeliners can make a huge different to a person's look, especially when you drew it in different way on your eyes. According to most females I met in my life, most girls' favourite type of eyeliner is liquid eyeliner, and yes, including me.

Here I'm doing a review on the award winning liquid eyeliner - the Brightly Sharp Eyeliner from Mee Cosmetic.

Mee Cosmetic is a brand from Thailand, but their products are made in Korea. The Mee Brightly Sharp Eyeliner is one of the fast selling eyeliner in Thailand and Hong Kong now. This eyeliner has won the CLEO Best Liquid Eyeliner 2014 Award.

The packaging.

Brightly Sharp? Yes it is!

The tip is sharp enough to create such a super thin line, best for a natural look!

I can't really draw thin eyeliner on my eyes because I have weird eyelids, so I drew it thicker. What I love about sharp eyeliner is I can adjust the thickness myself.

Overall look.

Close up look.

According to what I've researched on this eyeliner, it was claimed that it's also the best waterproof eyeliner, and at the same time it's easy to be removed as well. Yup, my first world problem is having a oily eyelids and my eyeliners never stay, but I hate eyeliners that are too hard to be removed as well!

So is this the thing that make this liquid eyeliner won the best eyeliner award? Let's have a look on my waterproof test on the Mee Brightly Sharp Eyeliner!

The eyeliner on my hand before the test.
Sorry for the wrinkles because it's a liquid eyeliner~

Yup, it does not come of while rinsing with huge amount of water!

The eyeliner after rinsing with water.

But because I have a bad habit, that is rubbing my eyes even though I'm having make up on my eyes. Let's have a smudge-proof test and see if it still stays after rubbing.

The first rub is not too hard, but it did came off which kinda surprised me.
After the test, it shows that it can be removed easily... with water?

So it's waterproof, but not smudge-proof. I did the smudge-proof test because I saw they compare this eyeliner with other brands', but it shows that this Mee eyeliner does not smudge in their results, which makes me wonder is it my eyeliner's problem or they mistaken the eyeliner brands during the test?

And this leads me to wonder why and how can this eyeliner won the best eyeliner award? How did they judge? No offence and to be honest, it's definitely not the best eyeliner that I've used before. The colour is not as bold and bright as I expected as well. Maybe this is the way they make it easy to remove.

Of course it's not a bad one to try out if you don't have oily eyelids and the habit of rubbing eyes like me (everyone knows that it's a bad habit, duh!). I actually love how sharp the liner is, and it's easy to use!

  2. I really envy people who can draw that kind of shape with eye liner. I really bad in drawing that and mine always 'senget' one...lol
