[Beauty] How to Plump Up Your Lips Naturally

We all want beautiful, plump kissable lips right? Of course we do, unfortunately we don’t all have the resources or, to be honest the desire to pay for costly fillers or injections. The dreaded “trout pout” is something which must be avoided at all costs but there are some easy, natural ways to plump up your lips giving them extra fullness with no pain, little or no expense and no risk.

Peppermint oilsay what? Yep, it’s good for calming the nerves and it’s also great for increasing the fullness of the lips (it tastes good too). How it achieves this is by irritating the lips just enough for them to swell up a little giving a temporary color rush without any serious damage or harm. Dab it on, feel the tingle and enjoy plumpilicious lips.

Capsicum – the stuff which adds the kick to red peppers is also available in oil form which is a great way to improve circulation and blood flow. Dab a little (not too much) onto the lips and watch them plump up for added allure.

Makeup tricks – a simple makeup trick can help your lips to appear more voluminous. Simply spot a little highlighter onto your cupids bow and lashings of lip balm to shimmer in the center of the bottom lip. This shimmering reflects the light and makes lips appear to be larger than they really are.

Another makeup tip – if you want luscious lips like Angelina Jolie why not follow her example. All you need is a good quality lipstick, a lip liner and some gloss. Pink toned lipsticks are the key to this secret and using a lip liner which is a little darker than the lipstick, put plenty of shiny lip gloss over the top and you’ve got it – plump looking lips Angelina Jolie would be proud of.

Smile, grin and pucker – it can really help. These simple lip exercises are just the thing to plump them up so get your lips moving. Whether you’re smiling, blowing a kiss or grinning from ear to ear just get those lips moving.

Massage – many of us treat ourselves to a relaxing massage and spa treatment for the rest of our bodies so why not our lips. Take a little lip balm and give your lips a massage, it can help to give them added lift and volume.

Give them a brush – we all religiously clean our teeth at least twice daily but concentrate only on the inside of our mouths – how about giving a little of that action to the exterior and the lips? If you give your lips a light brushing over it will increase the flow of blood which will make them look fuller. Okay, so it’s only temporary but every little helps you know.

Improving the circulation – as you may have gathered by now, the bottom line on increasing your lips for added fullness and volume is all about circulation. Following on from this theory any substance that helps to improve the circulation will naturally help you to plumper lips. One fabulous ingredient which does just that is cinnamon essential oil – dab a little onto the lips and gently smooth using circular motions. Not only will your lips have added volume and kissability but they’ll also have a fabulous aroma throughout the day.

Most professional makeup cases have plenty of space to add one or more of these products so that you can easily incorporate them into your daily makeup routine. Check out the choices at http://thesalonoutlet.com and you’ll see what I mean.

[Food] Coffee Smith | Maritime Piazza, Karpal Singh Drive

It's been a while for a food post in my blog. Since I'm quite free today, I'm gonna do a small sharing about a cafe that I went in Penang few days ago - Coffee Smith, Maritime Piazza (Karpal Singh Drive).

According to my sister, this cafe is quite new at the moment and it's always full house during peak hours. Besides, you might get the chance to share the large table with some other bunch of people. We went on a weekday lunch hour but it's not full house. Just a gentle reminder before anyone get disappointed.

I really love the design and the concept of the cafe when I first enter the cafe. It's a little bit vintage and old school type (in my opinion). But for the ambiance, I saw quite a few tables of office workers that might be those who are working nearby, chilling in the cafe, so it's not that quiet.

The menu was mainly in Chinese with explanation, and an English translation for the food name. As you can tell from their Facebook page, it was initially from Taipei, Taiwan, but the food were something western, such as Spaghetti, Sandwiches, Eggs Benedict and Chicken Chop.

Let's get started with a few food that me and my sister ordered.

Caramel Machiato - RM11 (I think)
Not a fan of coffee so I didn't try it, but it's my sister's favourite drink and you can definitely give it a try if you love caramel!

[Food] Malacca Food Trip (Melaka)

It's been a while for a travel food post. Me and my boyfie decided to plan a Malacca food trip after his final exam since I never went there before. Since we only have limited time, we only get to choose on a weekend, which is a super bad idea.

Never go on a weekend or school holidays and public holidays! Unless you only want to hunt for one particular food and you can bare with the jam and queues. A gentle reminder here if you're planning to do so!

On Saturday, we depart from KL Setapak around 1pm. ETA is normally 2 hours or less depends on your speed. But for a weekend, it took us almost 3 hours due to heavy traffic on the high way. So we reach 906 Hotel and check in at around 4pm.

We decided to have a rest for a while and hunt for dinner before 6, because you know, Malacca's street are not that big and it's definitely going to be jam every where during peak hours!

Looking for gorgeous yet affordable jewelleries? Recently I get to know an online jewellery store - Ollie Jewellery where they sell lotsa different types of affordable handmade accessories such as rings, earrings, bracelets and pendants (necklaces). Besides, they are selling various designs of .925 Sterling Silver accessories too!

Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% by mass of silver and 7.5% by mass of other metals, usually copper. The sterling silver standard has a minimum millesimal fineness of 925. (source)

So I just received one of their Sterling Silver Pendant and a Handmade Bracelet from them. Let's have a look on what I got and how they looked like!

Pretty packaging they had! It brightens up my day even before I start opening it!

It comes with an elegant box with the necklace inside and a sweet note from Nani!

A pendant is different from a necklace because it features a small piece of jewelry that accessory manufacturers hang onto the chain of a necklace, bracelet, or anklet while necklaces are worn around the neck. (source)
